Election Day & Other Comments

Its election day and I hope you voted for the right guy. Barry Goldwater again was not on the ballot - so I had to look for someone else. Excellent poker players like Eisenhower, Nixon or Obama don't run for POTUS very often.

Eight (count em; 8!) weeks of work are coming to an end next week. A wonderful experience teaching High School Government. What a year for it, too. Being retired for 6 years, its quite a shock to my system. This whole bit of getting up early every day, showering, shaving, putting on clean shirt, grabbing papers and driving to work --- well, it reminds me of the previous 30 years. Now I get my "poker life" back again.
